About

About Andrew

Mental health keynote speaker and suicide prevention activist in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, and the person behind #MattsMessage and the Hope Fund.

The person behind K&RYN

Lived experience, turned into support

Andrew “Diesel” Bennett has spent more than a decade helping people feel better, think clearer and find their way through life’s hardest moments. Through K&RYN his focus is mental health - one-to-one support, and keynote talks that get people, especially men, talking honestly about how they really feel.

What sets Andrew apart is that his work is built on lived experience as much as method. Having come through his own darkness, and having lost his brother Matt to suicide, he speaks openly about the things many people find hardest to say out loud. That loss is the reason behind #MattsMessage and the Hope Fund - making sure no one is left without support, and that cost is never the reason someone can’t get help.

How Andrew works

What makes the work different

Lived experience

Andrew has been there. He draws on his own journey through difficult times, and on losing his brother Matt to suicide, so the people he works with feel genuinely understood rather than lectured to.

Proven, practical methods

A mental performance scientist by training, Andrew brings proven, science-based methods to mental health. His Mind (re)Set sessions give you practical tools for anxiety, stress and confidence that work fast - not months of therapy.

Support for everyone

Through #MattsMessage and the Hope Fund, Andrew works to make sure cost is never a barrier to getting help. As an ambassador for a national suicide charity, he campaigns for a world where more people feel able to speak up.

Experience that runs deep

Trusted to speak, support and listen

Over the years Andrew has worked with people at every level, from elite sport to the boardroom. Today he channels that experience into the work that matters most to him - mental health support, honest conversation and suicide prevention.
